About Downtown Dubai
Downtown Dubai is a massive residential and commercial complex in the north of Dubai that spans two square kilometers and is still under construction in parts. Some of Dubai’s most well-known monuments are located here, including the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain, and the Dubai Opera.
The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, houses a hotel, business space, and 900 apartments. Low-rise villas and townhouses, as well as residential towers, can be found in the surrounding neighborhoods. The metro connects to Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Mall, which attracts shopping and leisure seekers from all over the country with its 1,200 retail outlets, aquarium, and ice rink.
